Hi! We are landing to JFK at May 12th, 19:40 PM according to the schedule. Should we book shuttle transfer ahead or does it really matter? Is there a possibility we don't get a transfer if we get it from JFK after landing?

I'll arrive at JFK on Apr 24 by CA981 about 14:20. I want to go to Hyatt Summerfield Suites, Mt Laurel the same day no later than 20:00. I'm seeking if I could take shuttle to my hotel after arrival. - Arriving on Thursday @ 2:20 PM into JFK wanting to go to Union Square/ Manhattan
- Leaving from Marriott/ Brooklyn Bridge Hotel from to catch my return flight departing on Tuesday @ 5:00 PM JFK
->Will taxi for both rides still be a flat rate of 50$ ?
What is price and travel time alternatively for train or bus?

A friend and I are planning a trip to NYc next January. what is the cheapest and easier way to get from JFK to somewhere near 55th Street and 7th Avenue and back to the airport for our return.
