I have clients flying through JFK to Portland Maine from South Africa. They have flown through Atlanta before and know the drill there , but are very unsure of JFK . They arrive at terminal 4 and connet on Jet Blue out of terminal 5. 1) Can she check her baggage through to Portland . 2) Is there a desk that she can put her luggage through, without re-checking in at terminal 5. Meeting visitors at JFK

Is it possible to meet local visitors at T4 in the lounge area or at any other place?
I will be arriving at JFK, enroute from India to Chile on the 13th of May and will be at the airport for 6 hours in transit, while I wait for my connecting flight to Santiago.

SIM CARD
Yes you can buy a SIM card within the terminal building. I did it as I live in Bermuda and I went home to England via JFK. I purchased a $50 SIM card which lasted about two weeks as my hub was still in Bermuda.
