Just an FYI for everyone. I would suggest calling the airport for any delays/cancellations. You can tell this site is not current because the site is reporting that it is overcast currently at JFK. I don't know where they're getting this info, but I don't think they realize it's snowing across all of NYC.

We have been at the United Airlines check-in today.
They have physically NO plane in NY JFK, they have been stopping them all outside NY since yesterday.
No hotel costs covered, it's due to the weather!
We got a ticket for Saturday, that's in 3 days.
And JFK airport website says, after 4 hours we have been there: No destination-specific delays are being reported
America, is there anybody in here? Maybe it's time to come back home.

We called American Airlines and was told JFK is OPEN. My guess is if people are actually being turned away, the airlines and this aweful website are not current ... at all!

Does anyone know what is happening to the international flights leaving JFK tomorrow night (Thursday night)? My flight with Virgin from JFK to london leaves then.

Why isn't it saying that JFK is closed? Are the Jet Blue flights the only ones cancelled? What is going on?!?!?!?!? I was just there and turned away by security saying entire airport closed?
