Hi, a salleswoman told me that in the customs at JFK I could receive back all the taxes I've paid in the products I bought here in NYC during my staying. Does anybody knows anything about it? I could not find anything on the internet... thank you very much!

Hi

I am flying to JFK from Heathrow on Thursday and i have a cold NOT SWINE FLU, i am on antibiotics and although i feel fine i sound like i have a clothes peg on my nose. everyone is telling me i need to get a 'fit to fly' from my doctors, but i am worried that this might not be enough for those at JFK. can anyone tell me if i have this document from my doctors will i be allowed to get and spend my dollars in NY.

I plan on arriving on a flight from Dubai (with Emirates) and then going onto to Punta Cana (with AA). Will I have to go through customs as I am not staying in the US but going from one international destination to another? I am looking at 40 minutes between arrival and departure. Is this timeline even possible?

Both my mom and I are arriving on flights to JFK at the same time and we need a good place to meet. I am arriving from Europe on KLM and she is arriving from California on Virgin. Would be great to know the best place to meet eachother so we can taxi together midtown.

My friend and I are arriving in New York JFK at terminal 2 and at terminal 7 the delta flight at terminal 2 at 6:25 a.m. the United flight at Terminal 7 at 6:45 a.m. We need to share a ride into the city where should we meet and plan our ride. Thanks?

We (2 adults + 12 years daughter) are visiting NYC (first time) this week and unfortunately were not very lucky with our hotel in NYC. Because of sky-rocking prices in Manhatten we booked hotel near Queensboro Plaza Station on Long Island. Any suggestions how to get there form JFK. I saw that there is an airport free service to Jamaica station and from there Subway ... to Queensboro station . But I am bit confused with Subway system , it looks like that line from Jamaica doesn't stop at Queensboro st. Any way that place arround Queensboro safe ?

Hi -- I have two Delta flights -- one arriving at 3:25 PM from Athens, Greece; and, then my second flight departs for Atlanta at 4:50 PM. Is there going to be enough time for me to deal with luggage and customs? Thanks!
