Terminal 4 Facts and Figures
The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK. T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century. T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world. T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America. T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually. T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year. T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station. T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.
JFK to Philadelphia
Hi, We will be landing in JFK (presume T4) on Emirates airline with approx 6 checked bags. We need to head to Philadelphia from JFK. Can someone advice on possible options? Is there a super shuttle or a shared ride? Thanks for any input I might receive

It seems that my Delta international flight is now arriving in T4, changed from T3. Is this a good thing? How is the customs & immigration at T4? And how is the connection to the AirTrain from T4?
Delta Transfer Terminal 4 to 2
According to Delta app, I'm landing in Terminal 4 Monday but flying out internationally Terminal 2 (1hr8min). Is there still a shuttle bus that bypasses security to transfer to Terminal 2 from Terminal 4.
International Terminal
Hello I have a flight on 06/18/2012 that will be landing from Reno, NV to New York La Guardia Airport @ 11:30 AM. I then have a 12 hour layover (which I will be spening a night at a nearby Airport Hotel). I then have a fight at JFK International Aiport on SAA (South African Airways) Flight 7916 on 06/19/2012. I have a few queastions:
Is Terminal 4 where I go to retrieve my boarding pass and check in my luggage?
Are the international and domestic terminals seperate? Or is all of JFK a massive international Airport and La Guardia is domestic only?
When I land in La Guardia will I retrieve my checked in luggage there or do the Airports automatically transport my baggage to JFK?

My wife will be arriving on Copa Airlines at around 12:30 am with our 3 year old. I'm afraid that at that time our son might be sleepy or not want to walk to immigration. My wife is petite with a weak back and can't carry him plus the carryon. Can we request help? A cart? Wheelchair? Would I be able to enter the luggage area to receive my son while she gets the luggage? We used a stroller the last time but didn't get it until we got to the luggage area. Thanks

I will be arriving at JFK by 8:15 with Emirates. I have seen in April 25 and 26's flight status that Emirates arrival isn't what it was estimated, arriving past 9:00am. Is this always like this?
I plan on taking NYC Airporter from JFK to Port Authority to catch my bus departing at 1:00pm.

Connecting Time from T4 to T3
Hi Specialist,
I just booked a flight arriving on Emirates at JFK T4 at 8:15am and need to catch the connecting flight on Delta at JFK T3 at 11am.
Will this time be sufficient for baggage collection and recheck-in? Or respectively how much time is normally required for this procedure in case my EK flight gets delayed?

1) Can i go a couple of days before my flight to Terminal 4 to register the equipment? Or , does it have to be the same day as my flight?
