JFK Airport Parking Information

You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:

Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.

Parking rates

$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours

Daily JFK Airport Parking

Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9

Parking rates


$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Family of three parents and one child are visiting from Turkey. Coming through Turkish airlines, bI see that Ter 1 is their arrival terminal with Turkish airlines. their arrival is set to be at 2:45PM. It is my very first time coming to JFK where exactly should I aprt ar the green parking area and how many hours I need what is the best way of paying less parking cost and what is exactly cost of parking . My car has been in the green area of parking since 8-12. I am stranded in Europe due to the storm and will not be able to get there until at least Monday or Tuesday.
Will my car be ok? Will they move the cars due to the hurricane?

I am picking up my daughter & 7 girlfriends arriving tonight at terminal 7. I see I should park in Orange lot.. I drive a full size 12 passenger van (like airport shuttle size!). Is orange parking a lot or garage? My van won't fit in most garage parking, as it's clearance is almost 7'. Will I be ok in the Orange parking area?
