Hello, can you confirm me that there's a luggage storage in terminal 8? Tomorrow morning me and my family are departing to cancun from terminal 8 (american airlines intenational) and we'd like to leave some of our luggages in the storage. When the concierge of my hotel called, though, he told me that there is no luggage storage in terminal 8, just in 1, 2 and 4. What's the truth? Please answer soon.

I will arrive with the bus in New York City and I will fly back one week later. Because I was staying two months in Canada, I have a lot of luggage. Is there an opportunity, that I can bring one or both suitcase to the airport to store it there for one week?

From Vancouver to Guayaquil
I am travelling from YVR on Dec 18th to JFK with Cathay Pacific #888. Arrive @ JFK at 6:00 AM on Sun 19th. Depart that evening at 23:00 on LAN #539 to Guayaquil(GYE). I was hoping to see the city all day and come back to the airport at night before departure. Since its over 15 hours of wait time, Where can i store my luggage?.
Also, what terminal would I arrive at and where would I depart from, and if need to switch terminals, where is best to store my luggage (in terminal of arrival or terminal of departure). Also, if I change terminals to store luggage do I need to go through security check? how does that work?

One Suitcase & backpack with laptop @ JFK

This is my first time in USA and I need help to store my luggage in NYC.
I'll be arriving at New York John F Kennedy Intl @ Terminal 3 on Mon, 13 Dec 2010 8am by Delta. I have a flight out to Dubai from Terminal 4 at 23:00hrs on the same day.
I'd like to tour the city during the day.
1. Where can I store my luggage ? (One Suitcase 26" & backpack with laptop)
2. Can I leave a backpack containing my laptop there ?
3. Do I need to declare my laptop ? (to ensure no damage in storage)

Luggage at JFK
Hi. Arriving Terminal 4 JFK en-route to Orlando and want to leave winter clothes in lock up facilities. However, on return to New York, arrive Newark Airport. What is the travelling time/cost of transport between Newark Airport and JFK and is it possible to get to the storage facilities landside?

Leaving Luggage at JFK returning to EWR
This is really not practical. A taxi between the two airports would probably run $80 to $100 each way (JFK to Manhattan is $60 with tip) and you would have to allow at least 1.5 hours each way. by publick tansport, you could do it for about $20 each way (maybe a bit less) but need to add at least 1 more hour if not more in case of delays. Plus the left items will cost $4 or more a day so if your trip is 2 wks, you would be spending $100 ti $300 or more to leave a couple coats. I travel often in the winter to tropical places. I NEVER take a coat or even real shoes. You really aren't outdoors for that long getting to/from the airports, even if you take public transport. Wear a sweater to the airport - you will probably want it in the plane anyway. If you are taking only sandals, wear warm socks with them on the way to/from the airport. Might not look fashionable but it does the trick, saves you money and headaches. Also less luggage to worry about luggage fees.

We are travelling through US for about 10 days in December not wanting to carry our winter clothing throughout our trip. We are leaving jfk to orlando with AA, coming back from Miami to JFK by AA as well and carry on with Swiss Airlines to Zurich.
Now from Miami I would like to check through the luggage to Zurich, but then I will have one or two more bags at storage in JFK. Would it be possible to add one or two more bags to my already checked through luggage?
If yes would the check in be possible in transit?
