JFK Airport Driving Directions

Street parking is terrible in midtown and you would have to park in one of the underground lots which are very expensive even for just a few hours. Suggest you take public transportation to the Empire State Building. Most major subway lines and LIRR stop within a few blocks. From JFK take AirTrain to Jamaica Station and then either LIRR or E subway to Penn Station, walk two blocks or just look up, you can't miss it!

Easiest is by taxi, cost would be around $50. Cheapest is by public transportation; take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR to Atlantic Terminal-Brooklyn, transfer to the Bay Ridge-bound R subway to Union St.

It's Central Valley, NEW YORK

The NJ Transit/Metro North-Port Jervis line train from Secaucus Junction stops at Harriman which is closest station to Central Valley, about 3-4 miles, fare is $19. To get to Secaucus Junction from JFK take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to E subway ($2.25) or LIRR ($5.75/$8) to Penn Station, take any NJ Transit train to Secaucus Junction, transfer to the Port Jervis train. Bus or train from Philly to Penn Station, then either NYAS express bus ($15) to your JFK terminal, or LIRR ($6~$8) or E subway ($2.25) to Jamaica and AirTrain ($5) from there to terminals.

Take NJ Transit train from Newark-Penn Station to New York-Penn Station, transfer to either E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK or LIRR to Jamaica, transfer to AirTrain to all terminals.

There are shared ride services at JFK that will take you straight to Stamford , CT. CT Limo or Prime Time(door-to-door) are two of them - inquire about them at Ground Transportation or Welcome Center desks.
Besides that you can take public to Grand Central and then Metro-North train to Stamford ,CT.
