You can store the bags at T4; T7 does not have baggage storage . Use Airtrain to move between the terminals - it is free and it takes no more than 5 mins between T4 and T7.
Luggage storage or airlines early check-in?
Hi, I will be transiting at new york's JFK airport and I'm thinking of stoping over for 1-2 nights.I wonder if I could store my luggage in the terminal so that I can move around easily with the metro system? Or is there any domestic airlines that would allow early check in of luggage (around 40-50 hours earlier)? BTW, is JFK airport connected with the metro to downtown NYC? Anyone could help? Thanks!

The most time allowed for advanced check-in is by Delta - 24 hours. You can store the bags in one of the facilities at T4,T1,T8 or T3, area B.
From JFK you can take Airtrain($5) to one of the subway stations. From there , you can take subway to downtown Manhattan.

You can store them at T4 luggage storage - it wil cost you aprox 3daysx$11=$33 for one bag.

I will be arriving to JFK on terminal 8 by AA at 8:00 am and the departure time for the air india flight to Mumbai is 9:30 pm from terminal 4.(I hope this will be the most convinient storage for me?)
