I will be arriving at JFK via AA on December 12th at 10:40pm and need to go to NJ, 2600 TONNELLE AVENUENORTH BERGEN, NUEVA JERSEY 07047 . Public transportation (underground) seems like the cheapest for the long ride. I will be carrying a small luggage.
Could someone please tell me which line to take from JFK and where to connect. We need to go to The Best Western Convention Centre.
Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to inbound E subway to 42nd St, walk south on 8th Ave to 38th St and turn right, hotel is between 10th & 11th Aves.
Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to either LIRR (faster than subway and trains have overhead luggage racks) or E subway to Penn Station, walk to PATH station at 6th Ave/33rd St, take the PATH-Yellow train to Pavonia.

I will be arriving at JFK via Jet Blue on December 11th at 8:40am and need to be in Manhatten by noon. Public transportation (underground) seems like the quickest given traffic at that time of year. I've read on line that a bus is not necessary and you can walk to the commuter rail (200 ft) from the Airtrans stop. Is this correct? I will not be carrying any luggage.
You can take AirTrain on track 1 from your terminal to Jamaica Station, from there you have a few alternatives depending on where in Manhattan you are heading; E subway to midtown (west along 53rd St and then down 8th Ave to lower Manhattan-World Trade Ctr), J subway to lower Manhattan and LIRR to Penn Station (33rd St/7th & 8th Aves).
