Terminal Access and Walking Between Terminals
I will have a Terminal 7 Boarding Pass and a very long connecting time. Q1--Can I use my boarding pass for a Terminal 7 flight to enter the Terminal 4 security area to see a friend off before their flight? Q2—Can I walk between terminal 7 and terminal 4? Q3—When walking or AirTraining between terminals 4, 5, 6 and 7 does one stay inside the security area of leave the security area. Thks, Leona

shifting from terminal 3 to terminal 4
Hi,
I reach JFK airport from St.Louis on Delta Airlines (DL 3019) at 1:51 pm on a saturday. The flight from St.Louis comes to terminal 3. i need to catch an international flight , an Air India one (AI 0102) to Delhi from terminal 4 at 3 :10 pm. So I kind of have like 1 hr and 15 minutes between the two flights. Do you think I can make it smoothly. How long does it take to switch between the terminals. Also will I be required to go through the security clearance for terminal 4 once again or will there be a direct shuttle service by Delta or Air India from terminal 3 to terminal 4 ? thank you
You will clear security at
You will clear security at terminal 4 prior to your flight. Your time frame is kinda tight but possible to connect if your first flight is on time. From T3 take any train on track 2 to T4. It takes about 2 minutes.

Meeting our daughter at New York airport.
On 30th of April, our daughter is flying in from Dominican republic on AA1774 travelling on to LHR on flight AA 6137. We (parents) are arriving in to the Airport at around the same time on FI 615 from Reykjavik. We haven't seen our daughter for about a year and we were hoping to meet up even if it's only a quick hello and goodbye. How can we do this ? Thank you very much.

My party will be arriving at JFK via Delta 4166, 7:20pm, which according to my info. would be gate #1. We depart on Delta 210, 8:05pm, which I have as departing terminal 3, gate 10.
My concern here is, will there be enough time from our scheduled arrival to get to our departure gate and which terminal would gate #1 fall under.

2 separate tickets
My son is arriving on a Finnair flight in Terminal 8. We had to make a separate flight for him to fly to RDU about 3 hours later. It says he will leave from Gate 23. Is that in Terminal 2 or 3? Also, is there any way they will check his bags all the way through to RDU if he has both tickets? Or will he have to claim his bags in Terminal 8 and proceed to Terminal 2 or 3 and check in again? Thanks!

I have the same situation coming up very soon. Is it feasible to make this connection in 2.5 hours with checked bags and customs?
If his first flight is
If his first flight is international he will need to recheck his bags for his second flight and clear Customs first. Gate 23 is at terminal 2.
