How do I get a bus from JFK to Denvill verginia

Greyhoud bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal. There are two late evening departures which get you to Danville the next morning. To get to PABT take a NYC taxi, the NYAirports shuttle bus or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station to E subway to 42nd St/Port Authority.

Is there any bus going from JFK Airport to 87 Christie Street?

Is that Chrystie St. near Chinatown? There's no direct bus service but you can take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, then transfer to the J subway to Bowery. Walk one block east on Delancey to Chrystie and then about two blocks south to your address.

We are 4 adults arriving on Sept.10, Saturday morning at JFK on Delta and need to go to Manhattan Cruise Terminal. After landing, we will take Air Train to Jamaica Station, take E train to 50th Street Station. From here, we are lost.
Should we take the M50 westbound bus to the Cruise Terminal? Is the transfer from subway E where we get off (50th and 7th Avenue) to M50 bus at 49th and 8th Avenue free?

Is this the right way to go? and approximately how long will it take?

The M50 runs westbound towards the cruise terminal on 49th St to 12th Ave. Take the 8th Ave. exit at the 50th St E subway stop (towards the front of the train) and walk one block south to 49th, bus stops are on the north side of 49th St. No free transfer from subway to bus; use a Metrocard to pay for AirTrain, subway and bus. Bus shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, it's about 45 minutes from Jamaica to 50th St on the subway, 15 minutes on AirTrain from terminals to Jamaica.

Appreciate your help. Thanks.

Actually, why is the transfer from subway E to M50 not free? Is it because we have to walk one street south away from subway station? I thought reading from MTA Info website that there is one free transfer from subway to bus allowed.

Sorry, you are correct, you do have one free transfer from subway to bus. You can also get off the E subway at 7th Ave, then walk to 49th & 7th to catch the M50 bus.

Thank you B2G.

hi,
am 62, arriving at JFk at 1100 on October 1, 2011. Please advice how to get a bus to Framingham, Boston. am completely lost with all the posts on the site.

Make your way to Penn Station and take Megabus or Amtrak train to Boston-South Station, transfer there to the MBTA Framingham/Worcester line train. Megabus is much cheaper than Amtrak. Megabus stop is located on 9th Ave between 31st & 33rd Sts, one block from Penn Station. From JFK, take taxi or NYAirports bus from terminal or AirTrain to Jamaica Station and either E subway or LIRR to Penn Station, exit to 8th Ave and walk one block west to 9th Ave.

What is the most economical way to go from JFK into Highland Park in New Jersey with 2 large pieces of luggage. Thanks

How do I get a bus from JFK to Penn Station?

How long is the distance (so I can factor time) and is it free?

The NYAirports bus stops at Penn Station, cost is around $15 and travel time is about one hour. You can also get to Penn Station by AirTrain/E subway ($7.25) in a little over one hour or AirTrain/LIRR ($11.25 to $13.75) in 45 minutes to one hour. Take AirTrain from your terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station and transfer to either LIRR or E subway.

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer!!!!
